The Infant Room

How do I know what my child is doing throughout the day?

Parents in the Infant Room are kept informed by detailed daily sheets that include naps, meals, bottles, diapers and all necessary information about their child's day. These sheets are sent home at the end of every day. We also encourage parents to call during the day and check in on their children and how their day is going.

What will your child be learning while they are at Little Red Wagon?

We work on building many skills with your children in the Infant Room. They include (but are not limited to) some of the following:

  • Toy grasping
  • Stroller rides
  • Peek-a-boo
  • Who's in the mirror (ME!)
  • Rolling over
  • Crawling
  • Pushing the walker
  • Songs (Itsy Bitsy spider, 5 little monkeys, etc.)
  • Clapping
  • Where is your .... ( body parts)
  • Animal names
  • ABC's

What is Little Red Wagon's goal when it comes to my infant?

The main objective of our infant room is to help each child learn, individually, all the important milestones of infancy. These are valuable skills children need to move forward in life and we strive to help them succeed in achieving them. We work hard to make sure that each child is learning and exploring every day and does so at their own pace. Every child is different and we are here to show them how important they are.
